The example client (Java)

With all the required steps explained we can now try the example client.

In the command prompt in the "JPlagTutorial" directory execute the following command:

ant

This executes the default target "cnj-client", which compiles the client and generates a jar file. You can then access the client in the "JPlagTutorial" directory using

java -jar dist/exampleClient.jar

This will print out the usage of this application. So for example to check the tutorial for plagiarisms you can type something of the following form (note the '.' at the end of the command for the current directory):

java -jar dist/exampleClient.jar -user <your username> -pass <your password> -l java15 .

The result will be saved in a folder named "result" in the current directory.
